Welcome to MergeEasy (“Service”). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MergeEasy (“we”, “our”, or “company”).

Service Description

MergeEasy provides online document merging and processing tools that allow users to merge PDF files, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, text files, and convert images to PDF. All file processing is done locally in the user's browser, without the need to upload files to our servers.

Conditions of Use

To use our Service, you agree to the following conditions:

• You will only use our Service for lawful purposes and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• You will not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the security or functionality of our Service.
• You will not use our Service to process files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• You will not use automated methods or bots to access or use our Service.
• You are responsible for all file content processed through our Service.

Intellectual Property

User Content

Our Service allows you to process your own files (“User Content”). You retain all rights to your User Content and are fully responsible for it.

Since our Service processes files locally in your browser, we do not store, access, or view your User Content. However, you grant us limited rights to enable our Service to process your files on your device.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have obtained all rights, licenses, and consents necessary to process the User Content;
• Your User Content does not infringe on any intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
• Your User Content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Our Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. MergeEasy expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by MergeEasy. MergeEasy has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that MergeEasy shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by your use of any third-party websites or services.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
